Within the BB93 guidelines most environments have an acoustic performance standard to adhere to. Using these guidelines Acoustico UK will calculate the existing reverberation time (Rt) in any area. By then proposing a coverage of acoustic products the aim is to achieve the performance standard by improving the Rt time resulting in better sound absorption and reverberation control. The performance standards vary if the area is within a new build or a existing building undergoing an acoustic refurbishment
