Based on acoustic principles and formulas, Acoustic UK will calculate the estimated current reverberation time within any space or area. From these findings we will propose an area (m²) or number of panels required in order to reduce the reverberation time to an ideal level. For example a medium sized theatre has an ideal RT of 2 seconds yet a classroom should be < 1 second. Subject to the use of the room we will use the BB93 government guidelines and other supporting information, such as Speech Transmission Index or The Norwegian standard NS8175 documents, to ensure you are getting the best acoustic performance.

This reverberation calculation is provided as a free of charge service using our reverberation calculation programme, it provides estimated RT. The quantities of acoustic absorption proposed will be based on this estimate. The initial consultation and design proposal is subject to area and space available for panel installation and a pre- installation site visit will be required to confirm the exact panel sizes and layout.

Acoustico UK accepts no liability if after treatment the areas produce different RT results. We work very closely with a number of acoustic engineers who can test and or verify the results of the calculation for full certified compliance to BB93 or other standards on any particular project.
